In 2018/19, fields 3 & 4 at Rosedale Park on Auckland’s North Shore were renewed

In 2011, SSDM carried out a soil survey across Sunnynook Park in Auckland in preparation of proposed SW detention pond works at the park.

SSDM was commissioned between 2006 and 2009 to assess the condition of the No. 1 field and prepare a design solution to upgrade the facility as a major training venue for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

SSDM was commissioned by Wellington City Council to carry out a condition assessment of the turf in 2009 in order to estimate the remaining life of the turf and start planning for surface replacement.

SSDM was commissioned by Auckland Council-South in 2014 to provide automatic irrigation design into fourteen sand carpet sports fields and two training areas across six parks in the Howick Pakuranga area.

The Auckland Council requires a region-wide sports field development strategy to meet the growing sporting needs of the population. SSDM was commissioned by Auckland Council to prepare a proposed schedule of sports field investments to cover the next 10 years of sports field upgrading in the Auckland region.

Sports Surface Design & Management (SSDM) carried out a survey of 23 soil-based sports fields spread over nine parks in the Papakura/Drury area using SSDM’s Sports Field Quality Audit System.

SSDM was engaged by Auckland Council to design and Project Manager the upgrade of the Number Three field at Mt. Wellington War Memorial Reserve on the edge of the Panmure Basin.

SSDM was engaged by Wellington City Council to carry out a comprehensive sports field investigation at Karori Park.

SSDM worked alongside Auckland Council, 4sight consulting and Stevenson & Turner in providing the design for the upgrade of the two aging sand carpet sports fields, cricket nets and natural cricket block at Shore Road Reserve, Remuera.

SSDM were engaged by Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) in early 2015 to carry out a feasibility study on upgrading the picturesque John Davies oval in Queenstown.

SSDM was engaged by Hamilton City Council to provide turf-related expertise for the staged development of an existsing greenfields site in Rototuna (Hamilton).
