Dane has over 20 years’ experience in the Horticulture and Sports Turf Industry. He has successfully operated and managed some of the highest profile maintenance contracts Australia wide. Previously the General Manager of Green Options, he is now the Director of Sports, Community and Education for the group.

He began his career as a Greenkeeping apprentice working at some of the most prestigious private schools in NSW.

Whilst completing his apprenticeship, Dane also studied for and achieved a Diploma in Business Management, Operations Management and Safety Systems Management.

After obtaining his qualifications, Dane began supervising and managing maintenance teams across NSW, leading more than 150 staff and preparing venues for numerous world class sporting events including NRL, Origin, A-League, PGA Championships, AFL, ARU, International and State Cricket fixtures, just to name a few.

Dane has also worked in the Sports Turf Construction and Renovation field and filled the role of Project Manager for several total reconstruction jobs including the design and installation of fully automatic irrigation systems, Sub-Surface Drainage systems and the design and reconstruction or resurfacing of playing fields at various Sporting Clubs, Schools, Colleges and Councils.

Dane prides himself on getting the best out of his staff resulting in their job satisfaction and developing strong relationships with his clientele, achieving high quality results for everyone.
