Measuring Performance
SSDM was directly engaged as the preferred agronomy provider for New Zealand Cricket, to carry out a number of independent WOFs at a selection of first class cricket venues in New Zealand.
These WOFs typically involved measuring the performance of existing cricket blocks and outfields against a set of predetermined performance criteria.
Dashboard
Testing criteria included:
- Surface infiltration measurement
- Organic matter (%) content of block and outfield
- Surface species composition of outfield
- Block performance
- Soil nutrient analysis
SSDM developed a purpose made ‘Dashboard’ that provided the client with a quick reference and ‘easy to read’ interpretation of the results along with recommended remedial actions.
