Caring for play-based learning environments

Teaching through nature

Young children learn through play and the natural environment in your early education centre is an essential element in putting your play-based learning strategy into practice.

The best play-based learning environments encourage talking, reading, writing and thinking and teachers and carers can use materials such as water, sand and other landscape items to guide play and learning. The landscapes we create and care for within childcare centres give children space and time to safely explore and imaginatively engage with nature.

Our crew’s schedule works to align with your centre’s timetable and we conduct regular maintenance of your trees and landscapes to ensure that all areas, including walkways, parking areas, and entrances, are safe and navigable, no matter the weather.

And for your peace of mind, all Green by Nature Educational team members have undergone the necessary police and security checks and hold the appropriate child safety registrations for your region, including Blue Cards and Working with Children cards.
