Mark Burton Wins Auckland Groundsman of the Year Award

A huge shoutout to Mark Burton for winning the Auckland Cricket Groundsman of the Year Award for the 2025/26 season! This award is a fantastic nod to all the hard work he puts in—from top-rated umpiring and expert turf care at the Te Atatu Park. To those important spring and autumn upgrades, plus his awesome teamwork with the club. And it’s not the first time Mark’s taken this home—he keeps raising the bar every year. He topped the umpire ratings with a solid 4.69 out of 5. We also got a solid second for Haupai Park, with Muditha Naiduwawadu close behind at 4.57. We’re really proud that Green by Nature has grabbed this award four times in the last nine years, showing just how consistently great our team is.
