Green By Nature is honoured to support the NRL School to Work program, an initiative that leverages Rugby League to help Indigenous Australians transition from school to the workforce or further educational pursuits.
This program plays a critical role in providing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with the resources, guidance, and opportunities they need to build successful futures.
As part of our involvement, Green by Nature participated in the Bennelong Cup touch football tournament on Friday, September 13th. While our team made it to the quarter-finals, the Bennelong Cup is much more than a sporting event. The day also featured a career expo, offering Indigenous students the chance to network and connect with a wide range of companies. This expo provided an invaluable platform for students to explore potential career paths and receive advice from supporting organisations.
Green by Nature was proud to participate both on the field and at the expo, to support these young leaders. Our team engaged directly with school leavers, sharing insights about our industry and offering guidance on entering the workforce. We are deeply committed to fostering opportunities for Indigenous youth and promoting diversity and inclusion within our company.
The Bennelong Cup was a resounding success. Our involvement in the tournament and career expo highlighted Green by Nature’s ongoing dedication to community engagement and helping Indigenous students transition into meaningful and fulfilling careers. Through partnerships like the NRL School to Work program, we aim to continue supporting future leaders and making a lasting impact.
