Cameron has more than 30 years’ experience in the parks industry, having begun his career with Auckland City Council where he worked for 20 years, completing his tenure as Group Manager, Arts, Community and Recreation Services.

He joined Recreational Services as General Manager in 2009 and was promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2016 before becoming the Director of Green by Nature New Zealand.

Cameron provides key insights into local government operations and he adds strength in technical, management and visionary skills to the executive team. All of these factors place him at a considerable advantage as he strives to build on the strong culture that makes Recreational Services the company it is while strengthening relationships and networks within the wider industry.

Cameron holds a Level Four Advanced Horticulture Certificate and is a Member of the New Zealand Recreation Association.
